| Gadgettribe.tv – A vodcast about gadgets and more. | |
![]() |
GadgetTribe.TV is a website that I made in cooperation with Billy Wanzi, a classmate from my college. Basically he did all the marketing aspects of the website and I designed and developed the website. The site runs for a large part on opensource software and scripts. However a lot of custom coding had to be done.A big aspect of the website is of course the video. All the shows that we also produce can be seen and downloaded in 4 different formats. The first 2 shows have been produced, however we wait with publishing them for our final presentation at college. | ING F1 Bookingtool
![]() |
When I went to London, the main purpose of the internship was to design a bookingtool. ING was sponsoring Renault F1 and thus got a lot of tickets available for customers, business-associates and anyone else that ING felt like giving tickets to. My fellow-classmate and me first researched what was possible within ING’s intranet network. Then we analyzed what the bookingtool must be able to do. After that we splut up our efforts and we designed the tool. Victor did the back-end and I did the front-end. What I can show you is a visual demo. The final design was approved and developed by Pixco in Belgium. The first stable release was working and implemented on the ING global intranet. You can see an interactive demo here. However since the presentation was done in IE it has only been optimized for IE. It works in Firefox too. Google Chrome won’t show it properly. | IDreamToBe – A lifestyle news site without any mainstream stuff.
![]() |
Also based on opensource, Idreamto.be (idtb) aims at showing the world what’s out there. Clothes, accessories, gadgets, music, traveling, movies and more, we cover it.Still the content must be fresh and new to people and that’s why we publish about items that are less known. For example products from stores that have just started producing and selling their products. Everyone can go to the big well known shops and see what’s for sale, so that’s not very interresting to read about. We provide the harder to find things. The site is still in production, a lot has to be done about the design. When it’s ready a team of about 7-10 people will start writing articles on a regular basis.

| Stmedia.nl – My old portfolio. | |
![]() |
This is my old portfolio. It was made in Flash which brought some great features, but also had a downside. Since I made the visuals in illustrator, the site would be based on vectors and not on pixels. This ensured that the visuals were always sharp and nicely looking. However the site was difficult to update. This was for me an important reason to switch to a new website. URL: http://www.stmedia.nl/OLD |
| Stfoto.nl – My photography weblog. | |
![]() |
Photography is one of my main hobbies, and since I post a lot of photo’s online I thought it was time for an online weblog. It all started with my previous weblog which I had to create for college. Besides schoolwork I also posted photography and later on it became my photolog. The url was http://wp.stfoto.nl.At the time, stfoto.nl just had a static portfolio and gallery. But this would just proven itself boring and visitors rarely get back. This is the reason I completely redesigned my photoblog, and placed it directly at stfoto.nl as my photo-portfolio.

| Miniz.nl – A website about an old hobby of mine, Mini-Z RC cars. | |
![]() |
When I was a littlebit younger, I liked to race with mini-z F1 cars. Because of that I wanted to get the mini-z community more toghether in the Netherlands. That’s why I created miniz.nl.
I stopped updating it since I kind off also stopped with the hobby. URL: http://www.miniz.nl |
| Stmedia.nl – My new personal website. | |
![]() |
You are looking at this page, and still I placed this here. Why? Simple: this is a great oppertunity to tell you a bit more about this site. My previous webpage was made in flash with a bit more creative and arty look and feel. However, I don’t think that look and feel is still appropriate to my aspirations. With the new stmedia.nl I focused on usability and tried to thought from my audience’ perspective. I tried to make it as easy as possible to know get to know me a little bit as fast as possible. A direct, open and most of all clear approach made this possible. The site runs on wordpress, one of my favorite Content Management Systems. The design was made by me so you won’t find it as a downloadable template anywhere. I used some plugins for the images, contact form and tables. URL: http://www.stmedia.nl |
