Since I was younger, I wanted to create films. Short films, or even work at full length movies… it all seemed fun to me.
It has always remained a passion of mine, and since my dad bought a videocamera I created quite some hobby-movies. Mostly trailers for movies never produced.

During my time at ING I worked both at ING Renault F1 and ING Wholesale Banking on video production.
Today I have the Canon 5DMKII which films at an incredibly high quality in the full HD format.

Here is some work I did in the past, remember that most of it is quite old.

GadgetTribe.TV Trailer.
Gadgettribe.tv is a webproject that Billy Wanzi and me set up in order to finish our degree. The website would have bi-weekly/weekly video eppisodes about Gadgets.

We have chosen to maintain one style, devided in two sub-styles. The main style is clean and stylish. The substyles are informative and entertainment. The trailer needs to look fun and inviting, so we used the more entertaining style here.

The video was made out of pictures that where edited one by one to the desired style. Then all the images, text and sound was composed toghether.  An altered version of the trailer is also used as the intro to the eppisodes that I will post shortly on this website. If you want to see them earlier, please contact me.

RJD2 – Smoke and Mirrors(London edition).
When I worked in London, I had to get to know the camera. Since I love to make video’s a good place to get to know the cam (Canon XL2) was at home. So me and my roommate and former colleague brought it home and we filmed some with it. This is the result of that learning session.

TRVLN 2 – Trailer.

TRVLN is short for Traveling. When Joost, victor and me got our OV-Jaarkaart’s, we decided to go traveling and see the rest of the Netherlands. This is a card that enables students to travel for free by public transport.

We filmed our trips. TRVLN 1 was completed, a 40 min long dvd. TRVLN2 was completed as well, but due to technical failure all was lost. The trailer is still left and that’s what I posted here. The original tapes also don’t work anymore, it’s been 5 years now..

We are considering doing something similar but trough Europe. Joost and Victor have been my 2 best friends for a while, and to film an adventure with the three of us traveling in Europe would also for outsiders be fun to watch. Who knows what the future brings…
